SOLAR PANELS ON VENUS

About Venus
Venus, named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty, is the second planet from the sun in our solar system and it is Earths closest planetary neighbour, often referred as Earth's twin due to their similar size and density

Surface
Even though Venus is the second planet from the sun, due to the fact that the clouds of sulfuric acid trap heat, it is the hottest planet in our solar system with a mean temperature of 464 degrees Celsius which is high enough to melt lead!

Venus, has a very thick and toxic atmosphere consisting of 96.5% Carbon dioxide and thick, yellowish clouds of sulfuric acid that trap heat, causing a runaway greenhouse effect. Venus has a crushing air pressure at it surface which is about 90 times greater of that of Earth.

Venus surface temperature
The surface is a rusty color and is dotted with intensely crunched mountains of thousands of large volcanoes from which some are believed to still be active
